FAQ

  • Can I choose the flowers in my bucket?

Big answer, no. But we can go over what we have available in your time frame and what you do and don’t like. We will try to honor those requests as much as possible.

  • How many buckets do I need?

The buckets will have on average 70 stems, with a range of 60- 80. Count the stems you will use for one arrangement, multiply by the number of arrangements you will make and divide by 70.

One bucket can fill 5-7 quart jars or medium size arrangements. Bouquets can vary widely but can use 20-70+ stems.

Even though we try our best, breakage does occur, especially during transport. Please account for that in your counts.

  • When should I order?

We would prefer bulk orders at least a month before the event. If you let us know in January/February we can sow specific seeds for you!

  • When should I pick them up?

You should pick them up the day of arranging or the day before arranging. This would ideally be no more than a day or two before your event. You should have a cooler, or cold space to keep your flowers before and after arranging.

  • How much time will it take me to arrange?

Based on experience level. You should allocate about an hour for medium to large arrangements, 30 minutes for small arrangements, and 15 minutes for bud vases and smalll wearables.

  • What materials will I need to arrange?

The sky is the limit! However, most supplies will be found at local craft stores. We would suggest: snips/pruners/scissors, floral tape, floral wire, pins, ribbon, vessels (vases, containers, bowls), chicken wire, flower frogs, towels and a spray bottle.
